Murali Krishna Talluru

Dr. Krishna Talluru Murali is a renowned researcher specializing in turbulence, aerodynamics and experimental fluid dynamics. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2014, and his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honours from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, in 2007. Currently, holding a senior lecturer position at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Dr. Talluru is renowned for his expertise in low-speed and high-speed fluid-structure interactions, compressible wake flows, and developing experimental techniques for wind tunnels across subsonic, supersonic, and hypersonic regimes. With a strong academic background, Dr. Talluru has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious Windows on Science Fellowship from the United States Air Force of Scientific Research (2022 and 2024), and Best Paper Awards at the AIAA Space Planes Conference (2023) and AIAA SciTech Forum (2022). He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has received several other awards recognizing his outstanding contributions to research and teaching.
