Research interests
My labaratory is interested in the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate the formation of organs in embryos, their renewal and regeneration into adulthood. Most of our studies are focused in initiation and morphogenesis of organs in craniofacial regions including mandible and teeth.
Currently we also study the origin, maintenance, proliferation and differentiation of adult stem cells using adult stem cells in dental pulp.
