Martie-Louise Verreynne

Martie-Louise Verreynne is a Professor in Innovation and Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, at the University of Queensland. Her research in innovation, particularly open innovation, focuses on how small firms leverage capabilities and networks to gain a competitive edge. Martie-Louise is a regular contributor to leading small business, entrepreneurship, strategy, and interdisciplinary journals and serves as Senior Associate Editor for the Journal of Small Business Management. Her work is funded by the ARC and other government and industry collaborators. She actively works with policy-makers and industry bodies to influence outcomes for the small firms that are the engine of the Australian and global economy.
