Marion Philadelphia

Marion Philadelphia is a Professor of Clinical Business Communication at USC Marshall School of Business. She has extensive experience in public relations, journalism, marketing, and the themed entertainment industry. She is an independent writer and translator with a notable portfolio of non-fiction book projects, including the Einstein Papers Project. With over two decades of service at Marshall, she previously chaired the Business Communication department. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from USC’s Rossier School of Education. Her expertise lies in business communication, cinematic arts, entertainment business, intercultural communication, and leadership communications. She has been instrumental in the development of the John H. Mitchell Business of Cinematic Arts program and serves as the Robert M. Malcolm Director for the World Bachelor in Business Program. She has received multiple awards for her teaching and mentorship, including the USC Mellon Award, Evan C. Thompson Faculty Mentoring and Leadership Award, and the Provost’s Mentoring Award.
