Mamello Thinyane

Mamello Thinyane is an Associate Professor in the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Adelaide University. An accomplished computer science academic, interdisciplinary researcher, and information technology professional, Mamello's research interests span cybersecurity, societal cyber resilience, critical data studies, and collective intelligence. With more than two decades of experience, he has collaborated with inter-governmental organizations, governments, industry leaders, universities, and civil-society organizations across Africa, Asia, and Australia to drive impactful digital transformation initiatives. Mamello is driven by a commitment to mentor and equip the next generation of leaders, strengthening multi-stakeholder innovation partnerships, and leveraging science and innovation towards sustainable good life for all.
