Research interests

I work on modern and contemporary Persian literature; Iranian Print Culture; Publishing; Book History; World Literature; Sociology of literature; Digital Humanities. I was trained in France, the United Kingdom, Iran, and the United States (Fulbright Visiting Fellow at Harvard University) before coming to Australia in 2013. I work increasingly in book history, print culture and publishing studies. In 2026/2027, I am a Bahari fellow of the Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford.
