Research interests
My group’s research is on developing wearable assistive devices (e.g., robotic exoskeletons) that can augment human mobility during locomotion. Some research topics include: 1) Robotic exoskeleton design and control (mechatronic design) using wearable sensors and deep learning 2) Designing a foundational model for estimating user physiology for a robotic exoskeleton 3) Computer vision-based whole-body human motion representation to enhance exoskeleton controllability and 4) physics informed simulation and exoskeleton control parameter optimization using deep reinforcement learning.
