Glenn Toogood

As an Industry Professor of Clean Energy at Adelaide University and IMT Atlantique, Glenn brings more than two decades of international leadership experience across the energy, resources, and investment sectors. In his former role as General Manager of Hydrogen and Clean Fuels at entX, Glenn lead the development of large-scale renewable hydrogen and storage projects, building early-stage growth opportunities across clean energy commodities, ventures, and innovation. His work focuses on accelerating industrial decarbonisation and shaping commercial pathways for the energy transition. Prior to entX, Glenn held senior management positions with Santos, Beach Energy, Qantas Airways, and ExxonMobil, where he specialised in developing and deploying new energy production concepts, establishing operational structures, and strengthening corporate reputation in both private and government sectors. His career has spanned Australia, Asia, and Europe, with a consistent focus on bridging technical innovation and executive leadership. Glenn holds a Master's in Corporate Strategy and Sustainability from Monash University, a Bachelor of Applied Geology from the University of Ballarat, and has completed the Advanced Leadership Program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
