Research interests
A/Prof Corrigan is a research active member of the Discipline of Anatomy and Pathology, School of Biomedicine at the University of Adelaide. After completion of her PhD in Dec 2011 investigating neuroprotective agents for traumatic brain injury she undertook local (UofA) postdoctoral training gaining research expertise in models of psychiatric disorders. She currently leads the Head Injury Group within the School of Biomedicine investigating both the short and long-term effects of traumatic brain injury, the role of exogenous factors such as sex and age and how to intervene to prevent long-term consequences.
