Research interests
My research focuses on the use of large routine databases in medical research and research design. I am co-Principal Investigator (with Clare Goyder) and leading the methodology for REDUCE-HF, an NIHR SPCR funded collaborative project using electronic health records data, machine learning and community co-production to reduce inequalities in the primary care diagnosis of heart failure. I am also co-Principal Investigator (with Rebekah Burrow) for an NIHR SPCR funded project on the use of nipple shields to support breastfeeding.
