Cal Baker

Dr Callum Baker is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and an Associate Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology in the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences, University of Queensland. His research program focuses on diabetes-related foot disease, cardiometabolic health, and exercise therapy, with a particular interest in how physical activity influences metabolic outcomes, wound healing, and patient-centred care for people living with diabetes and chronic wounds. Dr Baker holds qualifications in clinical exercise physiology (BManExSc; MClinExPhys) and a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Sydney, and has over a decade of experience delivering, evaluating, and translating exercise interventions for individuals with diabetes, obesity, and chronic cardiometabolic conditions.
