My research interests are focused on improving care of people living with motor neurone disease (MND). Areas include development and evaluation of decision support tools for people living with MND development; health service delivery, organisation and models of care; stakeholder engagement, and interprofessional team processes and practice. I have attracted research funding of over $7 million. Recent collaborations include: redevelopment of the Australian decision support tools for MND care (FightMND); assessing and bridging gaps in MND service access through co-design (FightMND); and evaluating an integrated model of care development for MND clinical services. My clinical background is in neurological rehabilitation as a speech pathologist, with 15 years’ experience working in health services as a clinician and healthcare manager (Australia and UK). improving care of people living with motor neurone disease (MND).
