Research interests
Spatial cardiology; Our research group at Oxford develops and applies advanced imaging techniques across various spatial scales, from subcellular to whole-heart, to better understand cardiovascular disease mechanisms, identify new therapeutic targets, and enhance early detection of treatment effects in experimental medicine trials. By integrating human cells, tissue samples, and non-invasive imaging of research and trial participants and patients, we aim to maximise the translational potential and mechanistic insights of our work. Current projects focus on metabolic and immunological pathways in heart failure, exploiting state-of-the-art spatial profiling techniques.
