Abbas Zeinijahromi

I am an Associate Professor in Petroleum Engineering (Energy Resources) at the School of Chemical Engineering. My core expertise lies in GeoEnergy (Oil and Gas) and GeoStorage (CO2 and Hydrogen Storage), with a specific focus on reactive multi-phase flow in porous media. I lead the GeoEnergy and Storage Research Group, where I bridge Petroleum Reservoir Engineering with low-carbon solutions. My research focuses on the mathematical and laboratory modelling of multi-phase flow in porous media, with applications in CO2 Storage (CCUS), Underground Hydrogen Storage, Low Salinity Waterflooding, Formation Damage, and EOR Carbon Capture Engineering, Carbon Sequestration Science, Hydrogen storage, Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering, Geothermal energy
